has started its test transmission from Bogra Sadar of Bogra district, Bangladesh 

 


 
Radio Mukti a community radio initiative by LDRO has started its test transmission in the area of Bogra Sadar of Bogra district.
 
"Radio Mukti" will be broadcasting to promote socio-economic development as well as access to information of the local people as a sustainable and accessible instrument focusing on women and children from the grassroots level, ensuring people's participation in the rural development, promoting life and livelihood of the local people and their heritage and culture.
 
Development news will be broadcasted along with education, local tainment and development motivation, specially using local dialect.
 
"Radio Mukti" will be available in the radius of a 17 k.m around the station at Bohra. With the assistance of LDRO Community Empowerment Programme and community people "Radio Mukti" is expected to become a popular and effective tool to develop community awareness, ensuring people's rights and contribute in building digital Bangladesh.
