A warm send-off for the Indian Satyagrahis at the Rajghat

on 9^th March at 9.00-11.00am

The Indian delegation is all set to depart on a peace march across India, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Lebanon & Jordan. This is part of the Asian convoy which is part of the Global March to Jerusalem, where delegates from the various Asian nations will be congregating on the borders of Palestine on the 30^th of March 2012.

We had also earlier organized the first ever collective "Asian Convoy to Gaza". We are determined to build the struggle in solidarity with the Palestinian people & against Imperialism & Zionism & we seek to unite the people of Asia in this endeavour. The occupation of Palestine by Zionist Israel is the central geopolitical issue of our times & at the heart lies the issue of Jerusalem!

We thus invite you to be a part of the programme, which is our tribute to Mahatma Gandhi & the martyrs of our freedom struggle who laid down their lives for the freedom of India & the world.

We thus invite you all to partake in this programme, which will include an all-religious prayer, speeches & revolutionary songs.
