EWS Admission - St Columba's School violates RTE Act, 2009

Dear friends,

We can not find fault with the school management since their right is protected under Art.15(5) which came in to force w.e.f. 20.1.2006 by the constitution (Ninety third Amendment) Act, 2005.As per the said Art. a minority educational institution is not  bound to give admission to SEBC/SC/ST Students in their schools/ colleges. The  said amendment was BROUGHT IN TO FORCE  by the 1st UPA GOVERNMENT.So you should find fault with Mrs.SONIA GANDHI under whose leadership the right of the SEBC/SC/ST Students were curtailed..In our Nation the 15%minorities have more rights and  previleges than 75% SEBC/SC/ST Students under the UPA Government. What a pitty it is! So think twice before supporting UPA Government.

Subject: [PMARC] EWS Admission - St Columba's School violates RTE Act, 2009

Plz find Attachments highlighting that St. Columba's School, Ashok Place, New Delhi-110001  has violated the provisions of Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 with impunity as much as the said school has reserved only 15% of seats for admission to the children belonging to Disadvantaged Group and Economically Weaker Sections instead of 25% as required under Section 12 of the RTE Act, 2009. Moreover, the said school has been illegally applying the point system criteria in case of EWS admissions also.
