Tribals to be sacrificed for Privatization – A message from Jairam Ramesh. Chidambaram exterminates Tribals by tagging them as Naxals.

Tribals to be sacrificed for Privatization – A message from Jairam Ramesh. Chidambaram exterminates Tribals by tagging them as Naxals.

Government is enthusiastic to continue with its privatization onslaught. It is annihilating Tribals from their mother land to make the land available for Country's Capitalists. From the Home Minister to Union Rural Development Minister and the Finance Minister all are set to destroy the lives of Tribals. During his recent visit to the Tribal Belts of the country Jairam Ramesh said, that if the country has to progress, then we have to find areas for Industrialisation and urbanization. Being an Environmental Minister Jairam Ramesh has made similar statements favouring Capitalists earlier. Today being a Rural Development Minister he continues to make similar favourable assertions for the Capitalists. He further reiterated that if the Panchayat Extension for Schedule Area Act ( PESA ACT ) was to be implemented in right manner, the problem of Naxalism would had not been so alarming. By making such statements he implicitly denies the fact that actually Congress's is the main reason behind the Naxal agitation.

Pesa Act was brought into force in 1996, with an aim to strengthen the Tribal Panchayats. Jairam Rameshm has made a lame statement, that the implementation of PESA in right manner would curb the Naxal agitation. The true reason behind the emergence of Naxalism is the new Economic Policy. Denying this truth Jairam Ramesh is up to blaiming the Tribals for their revolt. Failed Congress is passing the buck on the Tribals by accussing them for the Naxal uprising. Jairam has said that the Naxals are in greater numbers in the greener areas of forest and by giving such statement Jairam has tried to create a wrong picture about the areas having rich forest wealth which are part of the country's rich ecosystem. Congress who represents the Capitalist and who acts on behalf of the capitalist is out to spread wrong information about the rich green forest areas by calling it abode of naxals. Infact government is playing a role as an agent for the capitalists who are interested in these greener areas. Eurasian Brahmins are eyeing the lands of the Tribals and they want to sell these rich natural greener areas, forests and land to the Capitalists and this may lead to disturbance and interference in the nation's green rich eco-system due to exercises to hunt and kill the revolting Tribals. The eco-system is bound to be adversely affected.

Even after the declaration of so called independence Tribals have been segregated and exploited in a pre-determined and pre-planned manner. Though there being provisions in the Indian Constitution in form of Schedule 5 and 6 for Tribals they have been kept away from their fundamental constitutional rights. It is apparent that Congress is displacing the Tribals from their land to give these areas to the Capitalists at dirt cheap rate with an intention to make higher illicit profits by deals that are made under the tables.

Although 65 years post so called independence, people of the country are still having their social and economic issues lingering and unresolved. Tribals are killed like animals. This mission of government to execute the Tribals has been named as Operation Green Hunt. Home Minister has used para-military forces to strike the Tribals.

Recently the Home Minister P Chidambaram has opined publicly that the Naxals should stop retaliating. He mentioned Orissa, Jharkhand and West Bengal in his statement and where he said that we will have to adopt a stern approach in dealing with the Naxals and we will not leave any chance of targeting the revolting Tribals. He supported the anti-naxal drive and conspiracy that is underway in Bihar. On 15th November Chidambaram had toured some Tribal populated areas in Chattisgarh and Maharashtra. Tribals are displaced from their habitats and are getting killed for their water reserviours, land and jungles. Bharat Mukti Morcha has raised its voice against the anti-Tribal policies.

Supreme Court had ordered a ban on the activities of Selwa Judum a state sponsored tribal militant organization, that has been formed to fight against their own revolting tribals brethren. The judiciary has accepted the fact that the new economic policy has given rise to the Naxalist movement and uprising. Ignoring the decision of Supreme Court the Centre has decided to continue with its policy of conspirical extermination of Tribals.

The 28th Annual National Convention of BAMCEF is going to be held on in Gulbarga, Karnataka. During the convention talks will be held on the Supreme Court's decisions regarding the entire issue of Tribals. The conspiracies of Manuist have been brought into the light and stand fully exposed by the strong efforts of BAMCEF.

The Bahujans of this motherland should wake up to the fact that Tribals are declared naxals and they are executed mercilessly. The manuist are dividing and segregating the Bahujans into smaller lots to get rid of them. Bharat Mukti Morcha has waged its agitation at the national level and the solutions to the various problems of the Bahujans is more likely to be achieved through Nation-wide People Agitation i.e., Rastravyapi Jan Andolan.
