A petition to get President Obama to stop the proposed Keystone XLtar sands pipeline.

I just signed a really important petition on 350.org to get President Obama to stop the proposed Keystone XL tar sands pipeline. Will you join me and sign on too?

If you didn't know, the pipeline is a dangerous and dirty project to pump millions of barrels of dirty "tar sands oil" through America's heartland. James Hansen, NASA's chief climate scientist, has said that burning all of the tar sands oil would mean "game over for the climate." So, in other words, we've got to stop this pipeline.
The good news is that President Obama alone is making the decision by signing (or NOT signing) a presidential permit to approve its construction. This time, Obama can't blame the dysfunctional Senate or partisan gridlock. This fight is so important for the future of our country and our planet, so I hope you'll join me today and sign on.
