The religious Authority in Bahrain Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qassim criticized the Arab League's position on the suppression happening in Bahrain. He added that the Bahraini people will never retreat.

Sheikh Issa Qassim Criticizing the Silence About the Massacres in Bahrain

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Sheikh Issa Qassim said in the Friday prayer's speech, in Mosque of Imam Sadiq (AS) in al-Diraz region, "As events, pressure, challenge, patience, endurance, persistence and resilience has proven, that people of Bahrain, people with this level of awareness and faith, determination and light, are invincible and will eventually win according to God's will."

"The return to Islam faces no defeat, and knows no fatigue, arrogance, corruption and corrupting... It is the power, the integrity, the maturity, and is righteousness and reformation."

According to Sheikh Issa Qassim, staying on the path of Islam will bring victory. He pointed out that "the people chose two things together, peace and the will to sacrifice. People made their choice in full awareness and vision and thus will never amend their plan by deception and fraud." Sheikh Qasim added, "This has become impossible, and such behavior by the regime increased the persistence of the public's cause. People are sticking to their demands which will make it impossible to go back to the injustice, abuse and disregard."

Regarding the Arab League's position about what is happening in Bahrain, Sheikh Issa Qassim said "The Arab League sees justice in its unjust regimes." Adding that "the Arab League refuses to meet a representative of the opposition or hear his point of view regarding the state of the suffering people in his country by the government's torture techniques and humiliation."

According to Sheikh Qassim, "the Arab League's position for the injustice of the Arab regimes and the tragedy of their people seems like it has developed an eye that sees and an eye that doesn't; an ear that hears, and an ear that doesn't. It only sees what it chooses to see."

Sheikh Qassim concluded, "We know that victory is from God, not owned by others, not in the hands of others, and no one other than God can find a way to prevent and postpone it. We are not begging living beings for victory but we ask and beg of our Creator, who's the only one we depend on."

Bahraini regime arrests female students

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The students were arrested on their school bus on Tuesday. Their families have held a demonstration outside the police station where the detained students are being held.

The latest development in Bahrain comes as Saudi-backed regime forces continue to supress peaceful protesters across the country.

On Sunday, anti-regime demonstrators took to the streets of Sitra in central Bahrain, calling for an end to the Al Khalifa regime.

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates deployed military equipment and troops to Bahrain in mid-March upon a request from Manama to help quash the protests in the country.

Last week, Hajj pilgrims from the Saudi city of Qatif held a demonstration in the holy city of Mecca, urging Riyadh to withdraw troops from Bahrain.

Scores of people have been killed and many more have been injured in Bahrain during the regime's brutal crackdown on peaceful demonstrations. Hundreds of protesters have also been detained.
