NATO's aggression towards Qaddafi was protested against on Sunday the 23nd in Istanbul. During this, the ruling AKP government's policies against Libya were also protested.

The New Era Lawyers' Association and employees from "Dergimiz.Net" magazine gathered in front of the Consulate General of France. They carried photographs of Libyan Revolution Leader Muammar Qaddafi and Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and banners which said; "Allah, curse those who open bases for North Atlantic Terror Organization, known shortly as NATO, build protective shields for Israel and threaten the sovereign nation of Syria".

The group threw the so called "flag of NATO militias and NATO islamists" on the ground, stamped on it, tore it, and left it in front of the building.

Vice President of The New Era Lawyers' Association, Mehmet Sarı, said in a statement; "We are not, nor will we ever be like some people -- apostates who sell their religion out to NATO for temporary world power".

Sarı, further criticized the West, saying, "They are under the illusion that everything is under their control, and this has made them complacent. But the slightest incident could change this"

Following this statement, the meeting ended with slogans.
