Hi Palash,

Evalueserve is getting back to you with another interesting report regarding the current risks the USD-INR exchange rate (an important indicator of investor sentiment) is likely to be exposed. During the past 12 months, it has traded in a relatively narrow range, between 47.33 and 43.99. However, the pressure on its stability seems to become more evident.

According to Evalueserve analysis, during the next two years the probability of the INR to depreciate is the highest (about 50%) as compared to an appreciation or a status quo scenario. In other words, there will be pressure on the Rupee unless steps are taken to fix structural issues described in the article.

Please let me know if you can cover it or would you like to conduct any interview with the authors of the paper?.

For any clarification on certain sub-topics the article is talking about, please to not hesitate get in touch with me.

Regards,

Mahua
