According to Western "intelligence" Hezbollah may have Scud Missiles?

An article in the British newspaper The Times of October the 9th. 2010 stated that Israel is concerned that Lebanon's Shia Hezbollah has acquired Scud missiles. In the article there are also two Google Earth images showing possible, or rather alleged Scud missiles near the town of Adhra in Syria. The images although not proof positive of the existence of Scuds, will nevertheless ensure that Israel and the West will seize on the imagery to promote their own aggressive propagandist agenda, and as a consequence raise tensions further in the region.

Indeed this high definition Eye in the Sky technology is widely available to many countries throughout the world. For Lebanon not to be aware of it and its military and political usefulness for the West and Israel is inconceivable.  What therefore, was Lebanon's objective  in NOT disguising or camouflaging  the 'missiles', knowing full well that this single invasive spying eye of the West would be able to observe and record  their presence?

Presumably the 'missiles' are not mock ups – something commonly employed by Britain during World War II. In that case we must assume that they were deliberately deployed to illustrate their defensive (not offensive)   capability, with an understandable message to the war hungry West and Zionists, "don't mess with us or else!"  It raises the question what if the boot was on the other foot? What would the aggressors in the West have to say if the eye in the sky was used to pin-point  troop and/or tank movements for example of occupying forces in the Middle East?

It is also alleged that Hezbollah has amassed at least 40,000 rockets of varying sizes, some of which are purportedly capable of hitting targets in Israel. But it is the hysterics surrounding the alleged Scud C with the potential to hit Israel's nuclear reactor at Dimona in the Negev desert, that exposes Israel's and Western hypocrisy to perfection.

"Tensions between Lebanon and Israel have been running high for months. Hezbollah and Israel have been preparing for the possibility of another conflict ......... especially amid growing international unease over Iran's nuclear ambitions".

-The Times, October 9th. 2010. I have re-phrased part of the last sentence however to give an alternative to the narrow-minded Western hypocrisy which rears its hideous head whenever Israel is part of the equation.

Re-phrased it reads: "especially amid growing international fears over Israel's massive stockpile of Nuclear weapons and the apprehension – terror - they generate in Middle Eastern countries who, because of Israel's obdurate warring actions are motivated to accumulate military hardware for   defensive means", by warring actions I am not just referring to the appalling and illegal theft of Palestinian land.

And yet the British media insists on referring to those who oppose the West's  self serving foreign polices as militants, conveniently over looking the West's blatant and outrageous militancy. Hypocrits!! And when Russia supplies arms to Syria, and Syria allegedly  supplies  defensive equipment to Hezbollah, the whingeing Western media conveniently forget who was responsible for supplying Israel with armaments to the tune of  trillions of American dollars  or billions of pounds sterling. Hypocrits!!

(A question for readers to consider: Where were the  Weapons Inspectors hiding when Israel was manufacturing  their Nuclear arsenal, and who was it who supplied all the vital scientific  know how? Hypocrits!!)

Finally, how Israel's IDF surely IOF* will react if it is 'proved' that the alleged missiles are Scud C is anyone's guess. But with a gang of hard right crazy Zionist's at the controls of its government, it doesn't bode well for PEACE in the region in the near, middle, or distant future.
