We have been insisting  that the Mumbai Terror Strike was a Zionist Game to Destablise South Asian Geopolitics masterminded by United States of America as US War Economy has too much on stake as the War in Middle east is shifted in the Heart of Indian Ocean Peace zone.

I have posted detailed documented proofs on blogs earlier.

Now, as Indian Ruling Hegemony is all set to lick the Dust of OBAMA FEET in India, further leakage from Washington justifies our point decisively.

The US will send two of its top diplomats to New Delhi this week to prepare for President Barack Obama's maiden visit in November, a sojourn billed as a defining moment in bilateral ties.

The 26/11 Mumbai attacks terrorist, Ajmal Amir Kasab's uninterested disposition during the Bombay High Court's hearing of the arguments on confirmation of the death penalty handed to him has hit the headlines.Amidst unprecedented security, the state today opened arguments in the Bombay High Court on confirmation of death sentence awarded to Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab for his role in the terror attacks in the city on November 26, 2008. Government Counsel Ujjwal Nikam, while giving details about the barbaric acts of Kasab and nine others who came from Pakistan to strike terror in Mumbai, said "26/11 attack was act of state-sponsored terrorism and was executed by Lashkar-e-Taiba with the aid of security apparatus of that country".

The Comptroller and Auditor General will complete within three months a "comprehensive" audit of the Games projects,

Strict security measures were put in place and a curfew imposed in major towns in Kashmir on Monday to stop Hurriyat Conference leaders and their supporters to organise a protest march towards north Kashmir's Palhalan town.

The 26/11 arguments began in court 49 before Justice Ranjana Desai and Justice R V More through video conference to enable Kasab hear the proceedings from the Central Jail where he is imprisoned in the high security bomb and bullet proof cell. This is for the first time that arguments on confirmation of death sentence are being heard through video conference in the Bombay High Court, legal sources told PTI.

Kasab, who appeared on a big screen sharp at 11 AM, seemed to be uninterested in the proceedings as most of the time he was seen smiling and yawning.
At times, he scratched his head, played with the button of his prison uniform and stretched his arms. The entire High Court building was converted into a fortress with deployment of armed policemen at all the four entrances.

Lawyers, media persons and Court staff were issued special passes to enter Court 49 to hear the 26/11 case. Although Kasab was not brought to the court, security was tight in view of the sensitive nature of the case.

Meanwhile , the Brahmin Imperialism in India realigned with Zionist US Corporate Imperialism has opened Revenue Drain Unprecedented along with unprecedented Violence in this subcontinent.

CWG Gate exposes the Corruption down to bottom to enhance the Man Made Calamities to destroy the majority NON Brahamin Masses! The Commonwealth Games Organising Committee was Monday given an extension by the Group of Ministers (GoM), Urban Development Minister S. Jaipal Reddy announced.
Reddy, who heads the GoM, told reporters that senior officers will be 'allowed to continue in the Organising Committee until further orders'.

The sports ministry will decide on the duration of the extension.

'Since the GoM has met for the first time after the CWG, the GoM adopted a short resolution. It's a matter of gratification that the 19th CWG 2010 has been staged in Delhi in a highly successful way,' it said.

'Indian sportspersons, who have risen to greater heights than ever before in terms of results, deserve to be warmly congratulated. We thank the people of India and Delhi in particular for their consistent support to this great enterprise.'

'We thank all the contributing agencies, personnel, volunteers and artists for their unstinted cooperation,' he read out a statement after the two-hour-long meet.
'We are quite happy with the exceptional success of the CWG,' he said. He, however, refused to answer any question over charges of irregularities against the Organising Committee officials. He also said there was no discussion on allegations of corruption in organising the event, and refused to elaborate.

HISTORY OF VAIKOM AGITATION

Note on Vaikom
Vaikom is a beautiful small town in the Kerala State. Formerly, it was under the Travancore State, ruled by kings.
Till 1924, the "low caste" men weer not allowed to walk in the streets, near the temple as they would "pollute" it by their walking according, to the evil caste-system of Brahmins.
Thanthai Periyar E.V. Ramasami, the fighter for human rights, and eradication of Untouchability, participated in the agitation to throw open the streets for "low caste" Ezhavas, organised by George Joseph and others. He courted imprisonment twice and won their rights.
Fittingly, Periyar is called the "Hero of Vaikom".
Periyar recalls his expereinces in the year 1958 at a public meeting in Kanyakumari District.
Respectful President,
Ladies and gentlemen,
I was extended an invitation to come over to the Kanyakumari District many times by your comrades. As I was busily touring in other districts, I could not come earlier. Wherever I toured, I found a great awakening. People gathered in thousands.
Ten years ago, I addressed a meeting here in Marthandam. In those days you were citizens of a Native State. You were ruled by a Rajah, where as we were citizens of British Government. Yet we are all "sudras" (heirs of prostitutes). We Dravidians were subjected to humiliation by the Brahmins. It was the outcome of the hoax played on us, we continue to be "sudras".
Today, we are citizens of one country. We are Tamilians of Tamilnadu. We are today brought together. Our unity is strengthened. We are today linked as one family because we are all, now citizens of one country. We have to work together for achieving our ideals as we are all classified under one caste. So far as I am concerned, I led the agitation even some 35 years ago in Tamilnadu to eradicate the social evils particularly the hateful untouchability. For over thousand years we were not allowed to enter some of the public roads. Those who are now aged at least 50 yeas may recollect those days. Youngsters of this generation may not know these things of the past.
If there had not been the agitation in those days, today many of us would not have the right to pass through many of the roads. In those days conditions were very bad in this country. The Government was in the hands of the orthodox Brahmins. The Varnashrama Dharma was in its full sway. In our country, the advent of the non-Brahmin movement, redeemed a number of rights to the Non-Brahmins. The Non-Brahmin Movement successfully combated the Brahmin domination. That Non-Brahmin Movement was popularly know as the Justice Party; named after its journal "Justice".
The Brahmins too had their own organisations as Brahmana Samajam, and Brahmana Mahasabha. They worked against our interests and stood in the way of our attaining many of our legitimate rights. Brahmins were proud of calling themselves as "Highest caste". They insisted on calling themselves as Brahmins. Many law and other sastras too termed us as "sudras" only. What an amount of humiliation and degradation we were subjected to.
If we do not opt for the name of Dravidar Kazhagam or Tamilar Kazhagam, we have to choose only "Sudra" Kazhagam, as the suitable name for our organisation.
That is why, we had to change the name of the South Indian Liberal Federation, later called as the Justice Party, as the Dravidar Kazhagam, to make ourselves known to the world as to who we are. The Dravidians are people of a proud nation, known to the world.
On account of the efforts taken by the Non-Brahmin Movement (Justice Party) in the years 1919 and 1920 and the agitations in Tamilnadu, the right to make use of all roads irrespective of castes we got, not only in Tamilnadu but also in Andhra, Karnataka and Kerala. (To be continued)

Just read this report published in Kolkata English Daily, THE TELEGRAPH:

26/11: What US knew & didn't tell
K.P. NAYAR

Washington, Oct. 16: The Mumbai leg of President Barack Obama's visit next month, already entangled in a web of intractable issues, has been further complicated by a revelation here that three years before the November 2008 terrorist attack on Mumbai, US officials knew that co-conspirator David Coleman Headley was undergoing training with the Lashkar-e-Toiba, which plotted the attack.

In September 2005, officers of no less than New York's joint terrorism task force investigated a tip-off from Headley's American wife, who showed them audio cassettes and described his emails and phone conversations with those in Pakistan who want to create mayhem in India.

The new details, product of an investigation by ProPublica, an independent non-governmental organisation which "focuses exclusively on truly important stories with moral force", suggest that the repeated warnings from the US to India of an attack on Mumbai were prompted by what they knew and did not share with New Delhi at that stage about Headley.

It is unlikely that India would have given a visa to Headley for his repeated visits to Mumbai to scout Lashkar targets if his photographs had been shared with India to be put on an immigration blacklist.

"The warnings included details such as a threat to the iconic Taj Mahal hotel, which became a target," the investigation by ProPublica said. It raised the question "whether a different response to the tip about Headley might have averted the Mumbai attacks".

The American media is already being deluged during the weekend by the revelations, not because any tears are being shed here for Mumbai but because several US citizens were killed in the 2008 terror attacks in the city.

The expose is being viewed by the Obama administration to be damaging enough for their President's coming visit. The US ambassador to India, Timothy Roemer, took the unusual step of issuing a weekend statement that "we are looking into published reports about possible information related to David Headley that goes back before the Mumbai attacks and how such information may have been handled".

Roemer's pre-emptive statement to control potential damage before the revelations spread in India said: "When we have determined exactly what transpired, we will be in a position to speak to the specific claims made in the... media reports."

The ambassador recalled: "We have also provided Indian authorities with access to Headley in US custody so that the Government of India could put questions directly to him."

What Roemer did not address at this stage was whether the Indians were ever told about the critical role played by Headley's wife in tracing her husband's links with Lashkar or whether any access to her was provided to Indian investigators.

The fear here is that such information may reveal that the US did not do all that it could have done to prevent the attack on Mumbai.

It has been officially acknowledged here after Headley's arrest that he was an informant for the US drug enforcement administration in the 1990s. It is believed that he later became a double agent.

Possibly because of fears that his intelligence connections with the US government would be exposed, Headley was not detained until almost a year after the attack on Mumbai. He was detained only after it became known to British intelligence that he was plotting similar attacks with al Qaida in Europe.

The latest Headley saga revealed by ProPublica begins on August 25, 2005, when the Lashkar conspirator's wife demanded a divorce after learning that he had another wife and children in Pakistan.

"They argued... and she filed an assault complaint alleging that he 'struck her several times in the face'," according to new accounts.

"She phoned a tip line of the Joint Terrorism Task Force in New York, an FBI-led, multi-agency unit with hundreds of investigators. Her tip was assigned an FBI lead number under guidelines developed after the September 11 attacks."

The New York police department confirmed that on August 31, 2005, Headley, still going by his original Pakistani name of Daood Gilani, was arrested on the wife's complaint for alleged misdemeanour and assault, but was never prosecuted for reasons that can only be speculated on.

"Not long after the arrest, task force investigators met three times with his wife. In addition to a detailed account of his activity with Lashkar, she showed them audio cassettes and ideological material and described his emails and calls from Pakistan and to individuals whom she thought to be extremists," the new revelations said.ProPublica was a recipient of this year's Pulitzer Prize for investigative reporting. It is led by Paul Steiger, the renowned former managing editor of The Wall Street Journal, and its team includes credible top American investigative reporters.

Kalmadis create a Rs. 60,000-crore "national shame" to further enslave Bahujans

Will the Rs. 60,000-crore fraud together with the worst "national shame" brought upon India by the crimes of the Karnataka Brahmin Kalmadi bring shock to his jatwalas and force them to change? Will the global rating agencies criticising the Delhi CWG and doubting India's ability bring shame on our Brahminist rulers? Sorry. No. Never.
The point is this "nation" does not belong to the Kalmadis. How then they will be ashamed ?
You can't think of it. Daily we read and hear scores of Brahminical intellectuals freely criticising this and that. To this today we have not heard or read even a single "shocked" Brahminical intellectual criticising Kalmadi. Bangalore's Big Brahmin Narayana Murthy is totally silent.
The CWG might have brought a "national shame" but the 15% Brahminical rulers are not part of this "nation". They belong to a separate nation.
Determined to ruin India: India will forever continue as the land of confusion, chaos, contradictions and continuous caste and creed clashes.
The CWG mess has once for all given the unthinking Bahujans, the owners of India, the final proof that the alien Brahminical class is determined to ruin, starve, enslave, pauperise and then destroy this country. That means they will never, ever be ashamed by the CWG mess.
There will be more and bigger CWGs. Wait and see.
Why India always fails: The whole world, is simply shocked at the way the Govt. of India handled the CWG. They are asking why India always fails. Always last in everything but always first in boasting.
But India's ruling class (15%) is neither shocked nor ashamed over the CWG. If it gets an opportunity it will create a bigger and costlier scandal and drag India down. The Kalmadis don't care for India. Because they don't belong to India.
The worst culprits are India's "intellectuals". They are good at giving suggestions, holding seminars, followed by cocktail parties. And the Brahminical media is ready to publish their speeches along with their pictures. And we the bloody fools read it and admire these Kalmadis.
In China, by this time such criminals like the Kalmadis would have been arrested and straightaway put to firing squad. But our corrupt Kalmadis are given Padma Bhushan awards. This is called the Hindu value system.
Hindu psyche: The quintessence of the Hindu value system is to block India's progress. This is its unique psyche.
We have analysed the Hindu trait in many of our writings in DV, our books and speeches but our DV family members do not take it seriously and act upon it. They can't even understand what we write. What then is the use of writing or speaking?
Our very thinking capacity killed: On one side Brahminism has killed the very Bahujan thinking capacity. When you are so impoverished, deeply worried how can you think of finer aspects of life?
The Bahujans silence — total — gives a free hand to the Brahminical highway robbers like the Kalmadis to loot and run.
The 2010 CWG will give many, many ideas and create many more Kalmadis to suck our blood. Who is there to hear our heart-burning?
The only motto of Brahminism: Brahminism has already blocked the progress of Bahujans and the Bahujan Bharat is dying. Blocking our progress is their whole-time pre-occupation. This is the one-point motto of Brahminism. We have said this umpteen times and we have never gone wrong.
How easily and effortlessly Brahminists have enslaved us. A wonder of the world.
The Brahminists say they alone have "brilliant ideas". You go to any book store, it is full of their books radiating their ideas. But do you know that blocking the progress of India is the foundation on which all their ideas are built? The very Brahmin brain is a storehouse of such building bricks that block the progress of India.
Why they block the progress is because the Bharat belongs to Bahujans and Brahminists (15%) are not part of this Bharat. The Rs. 60,000 crore CWG "national shame" has proved it — if you want any proof. Hundreds of proofs have been cited in DV.
Blocking India's progress is the unique trait of the Brahminist brain.
What are the traits of this Brahminical brain?
        (1) This brain will never, ever criticise the caste system. Because the caste system is the other word for Brahminism.
Only as long as the caste system (the other name for Hinduism or Brahminism) is there, there will be the Kalmadis.
This caste system keeps the Bahujans (85%) as slaves and also keeps the Kalmadis as rulers. How then you can expect the Kalmadis to criticise the caste system?
Have you ever seen any Brahminist intellectual criticising the caste system? Never.
The Brahminists are the worst argumentative Indians but the one most important idea of destruction of the caste system (Hinduism) will never come from their pen or mouth because the caste system is the other name for Brahminism.
Babri Masjid: The caste system helps the Brahmin to keep the SC/ST/BCs as slaves. The caste system helps them to go on demolishing the Babri Masjids and keep the Kashmiris permanently curfew-bound. Why should they kill the goose (caste system) that lays the golden egg?
Divisive creed: Brahminism, which is sold to us by rebranding it as Hinduism, is a divisive creed. It is not a religion. It is a poisonous octopus.
It helps a person to divide the people on the basis of caste, grade them on the ascending order of reverence and descending degree of contempt. A beautiful, permanent, imposing, rock-solid structure is built, on the top of which sits the Kalmadis and enjoy a Rs. 60,000-crore gala dinner. Which Kalmadi is ready to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs?
        (2) Keep the Bahujans poor, divided and under permanent slavery and servility. The Bahujans are there to keep the city clean. Fishermen are there to fetch fresh fish from the seas, farmers are there to grow food, Chamars are there to prepare them the best of footwear, weavers are there to make fashionable silk, woolen and cotton fabrics. All cheap and yet excellent.
        (3) What will happen even if a fraction of them start thinking about their servility? How to make them not to think of their centuries-long slavery? The best way is to keep them dirt poor. Once they are poor they cannot afford education and lack of education will keep them unthinking. Such poor, uneducated, people will be the best servile slaves.
Almost the whole of 85% Bahujan population of India has been converted into servile slaves. How can a servile slave who cannot think, understand what is justice and what is injustice?
"India's most honest PM": These 85% of the servile slaves are presided over by the 15% Kalmadis intoxicated by the Rs. 60,000-crore CWG cake today to further strengthen their oppressive machinery. Tomorrow they will manufacture a bigger fraud and cut a still bigger cake.
Our justice system presided over by the Supreme Court is mum because the court is also full of Kalmadis only. The media anyway belongs only to the Kalmadis.
The country's "most honest PM" has given his consent to the Kalmadi's highway robbery.
This is how a less than 15% of the upper castes ( Hindu-Brahminists) are managing India with scams and frauds, murders and mayhems — everyday. None to question the Bhoodevatas. (See "REPORTS)

        Important announcement

Enough Debate has taken place on "Closing down DV". There was a chorus of protest against our decision which we were forced to take because of our serious financial crisis.
The total money received was too little— just Rs. 4 lakhs.
Some members suggested doubling DV subscription from Rs. 300 to Rs. 600. Some said Rs. 500. After good deal of discussion the following consensus has emerged:

        NEW SUBSCRIPTION RATES

        1. DV yearly subscription to be immediately raised to Rs. 500 from Rs. 300.
        2. Life membership increased from Rs.3,500 to Rs. 5,000.
All the life-members are requested to pay up the balance of Rs. 1,500 to meet our recurring losses.
        3. As we can't afford to write individually to all life-members to pay the balance, please take this as our personal request to avert the "DV closing down".
        4. Single copy price is raised from Rs. 15 to Rs. 20.
        5. Foreign subscription increased from US $ 75 to US $ 100.
        6. Foreign life membership is US $ 300.

        TROUBLE FROM NEWS AGENTS

        7. There are quite a number of DV news agents who are not clearing their dues (amounting to thousands of rupees) despite repeated reminders.
        8. Those who send EMO must also state the purpose of sending it.

        NON-RECEIPT OF DV

        9. Of late complaints about non-receipt of DV are increasing. We have fixed dates for posting DV from the Bangalore GPO — that is 9th and 24th of every month. We have never failed to post DV on these dates.
Your complaints must be addressed to the respective Superintendent of Post Offices with a copy to us. Postal Dept. like all other wings of the state, is also collapsing.

Babri verdict : India further pushed back

        OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: The Allahabad High Court verdict of Sept.30, 2010 on Babri Masjid cannot be accepted. Because it is based on myths (superstitions) and not on verified historical facts. Can a court verdict based on faith and beliefs that kill science, rationalism, progress? That is why Brahminical forces are naturally rejoicing over the verdict because it has suffered a criminal blow inflicted on the historical rights of Muslims — paving the way to declare India a Ram Rajya. Dr. Ambedkar's fears have come true (DV Edit Oct.1, 2010). We are deeply worried over the future of India that is being daily pushed backward. We have no hope of the ruling Brahminists accepting the constitution of India.

        CWG today, India tomorrow

The multi-million dollar corruption in the Commonwealth Games (CWG) leading to India's worst "national shame" is fully blessed by what is described as the country's "honest PM". CWG stands for India and all that it represents. DV has said enough on this subject.
Now, please take our prediction: what CWG stands for today (corruption, chaos, delay, fraud, deceit, shameless defence of all the crimes etc.) will also happen in this Brahminist-ruled India tomorrow. Bahujans get ready.
One Kalmadi destroyed CWG. The Kalmadi collective is destroying our whole India.

CWG chaos exactly like total mess in India

        OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: The chaos in the Commonwealth Games (India), headed by the arrogant Karnataka Brahmin Kalmadi represents everything that is Brahminic India.
The false picture, so painstakingly painted, of "Shining India", "Booming India" is shattered to pieces.
When the whole world is laughing at it, our "Khatri Sick" PM is fully defending it. Not one single of our "intellectuals", who rush to the press for everything sundry, has criticised it. See the Brahminic solidarity.
India suffered international shame. So what? The country lost, "who cares, our man gained".
Except the Times of India, barking at Kalmadi at the behest of Sharad Pawar, the rest of the media is silent. Just as a dog will not eat another dog, have you ever seen a Brahmin criticising another jatwala? Kalmadi is fully backed by his entire tribe. He knows his strength. Neither the all-powerful govt. nor the courts have the courage to touch the Bhoodevata.
When Gandhi was killed by a Brahmin, RSS rejoiced and distributed sweets. Their jatwalas might have shed crocodile tears, but never condemned Godse.
Such is the solidarity. When it rains in Kashmir, the Kanyakumari Brahmin shivers.
This jati solidarity is bent upon taking the country to the World War-III so that the starving Bahujans are reduced to beggars. (Sept.24, 2010).
        DV Sept.1, 2010 p.8: "Anatomy of corruption".

        Muslims never trusted Obama

        OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: Zionist Jews (2%) controlling the White Christian American can make a President and then humiliate and finally even kill him. This happened with Presidents Clinton, George Bush and now with Obama.
The Black and also the Muslim Obama is also swallowed by the very same forces because the Muslims doubted his honesty which he wanted to see through his June 2009 Cairo speech.
In DV, we got deceived by Obama's rhetorics. But Muslims proved they are better judges. Palestine Muslims don't trust him. Obama is still a prisoner in the hands of Jews who are today driving him to a World War-III on Israel. This war with Iran will involve Russia, China and the whole of Muslim and Black world.
But India controlled by its Brahminist Jews will go with their cousins. It will be a World War-III. DV has said it.

        Editor to inaugurate BAMCEF convention

        OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: V.T. Rajshekar, Editor of Dalit Voice, will inaugurate the Karnataka state conference of the BAMCEF in Bangalore on Nov.21, 2010. President Vaman Meshram will preside over the 2-day conference. Meanwhile, BAMCEF has launched the country-wide Bharat Mukti Morcha rallies in 29 states and 500 districts. The campaign is against the betrayal of the OBCs by Brahmin rulers in census enumeration. The rally began on Sept.26.

THE VERY INDIAN SYSTEM IS CORRUPT

        OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: The fence is erected to protect the field. Now, we get the high-voltage shock that the fence itself is eating the field. This shocking revelation has come from an ex-Union Law Minister who named eight corrupt former chief justices of the Supreme Court.
That the judiciary, including the highest court, is not above suspicion is well known. Not only the judges, even the Supreme Court top lawyers.
Shanti Bhushan has named the corrupt CJS and many of them are Brahmins. Corruption is not the monopoly of any caste but the Bhoodevatas are leaders in this field also.

        KALMADI CORRUPTION

The whole world is shocked by the Brahmin culprit Kalmadi's corruption in the Commonwealth Games. But we are not.
Because it is not possible in "Hindu India" to exist without being corrupt.
The problem we face in India is we always have different meaning to every act.

        DEFENDING MANU'S LAW

When a person is accused of corruption, what we mean is "money corruption". But we have said in our book, India's Intellectual Desert (DSA-1999, Rs. 50) that money corruption is the last and the least dangerous of the four forms of corruption. "Intellectual corruption" is the most dangerous form of the four.
A Supreme Court sitting judge recently delivered in Bangalore three lectures on a working day at Brahminical institutions on different aspects of Brahminical law. And fully defending it. When the country and its SC are governed by the constitution how could this Brahmin judge uphold the hated anti-human law of Manu?

        BRIBE-GIVER IS ALSO CORRUPT

Nobody criticised this judge's conduct in defending Manu which is more dangerous than crores of corruption.
There is yet another important side to the "corruption stories" which always get front-page publicity. Why the readers love "corruption stories", like to see corrupt fellows pictures and punished by the law of the land?
An official, judge or a minister takes money. And this is called corruption.
But did we ever think that the "corrupt fellow" took the bribe because it was willingly given to him by the interested party? Then why don't we criticise the bribe-giver? Without the bribe-giver how can there be a bribe-taker? Both are too sides of the same coin.

        TEMPLE CORRUPTION

In this Brahminical India there is no single govt. dept., central or state, which is not corrupt. It is top to bottom. Corruption begins from the top. Not the bottom.
It is also wrong to say that corruption is confined to only govt. sector. The private sector is equally corrupt. All private education institutions collect heavy capitation fees — all unaccounted. Private hospitals, loot the patients.
All shops cheat the customers with faulty weighing machines. Drug stores dispense spurious medicines. Taxis and autos cheat people. There is no place without corruption.
What about temple corruption? Yes. The list of bribe amount is displayed at the very entrance. All auditors bribe income tax officers. Traders avoid paying tax. Liquor stores sell adulterated stuff.
Cricket is top to bottom corrupt.
Newspapers and journals resort to all sorts of corruption. If you give Scotch and chicken tikka you will get a good report.

        WORST CORRUPT COUNTRY IN WORLD

Every Press Club in big cities get big money from the powers-to be. "Paid News" is the latest corruption charge against the daily papers. Even the Press Commission is trying to hush up the crime.
In another two years newspapers will have to devote almost every page to report corruption stories.
You will be shocked to hear even village voters have started demanding money for votes. That means our Brahminical system has made even the people corrupt.
The top in every branch of the society is corrupt. Those in the bottom are watching and learning. India will then become the worst corrupt in the world.

        HARSHAD MEHTA & BAL THACKERAY

Who is not corrupt in India?
Our very system itself is corrupt. Our entire socio-economic-cultural-political machinery has become totally corrupt.
Harshad Mehta was not a govt. servant. Bal Thackeray, sitting on a mountain of money today, too was never in govt. Our Dalal Street Dagalbajis are not govt. servants.
The Kanchi Shankarachari not getting any conviction despite his proven scandals and murders is neither a govt. servant nor a politician.
The whole lot is corrupt. Our very system is corrupt.
The Christian church, the Muslim masjid, the Sikh gurdwaras are not above corruption.

        ARMY GENERAL SENTENCED

The No.2 man in the Army is today facing court martial for corruption,. We saw the army corruption in the purchase of coffins when George Fernandes was the Defence Minister.
To repeat: Our very system itself is corrupt — rotten. The "Khatri Sick" PM himself defended CW Games corruption.
        What is this system?

        GLORIFYING THE RICH

This system glorifies the rich. Ambanis are praised and paraded. They are always front-paged. Why the people "respect" the Ambanis even when they don't pay the tax?
Why the papers always front-page news of "India's richest"? Because we silently admire the rich and would like to emulate them.
Get-rich-quick is the advice given to every youth by the father and mother.
About 20 years ago the parent wished his son to study well and lead a happy life.

        HOW TO MAKE MONEY?

        Now, this has changed.
The common talk is: "Do you know so and so is doing very well?" What he means by that "wellness" is the fellow has made pots of money. But nobody asks how he has made that money.
Nobody is interested in knowing it. So when the rich are glamourised, praised and paraded, get front page in Times of India, our value system changes. We aim at making money by hook or crook.
But making money is the easiest. You must have no scruples, no principles. Cheat, rob, bribe or take bribe, resort to any means including murder — you become rich. And once you become rich you become the Ambani. Your past is quickly forgotten. And get all awards, rewards. Front-page pictures, TV interviews, Rotary Club honour.
Your wife, mother, father will all love you, run after you only if you are rich.

        DESPISED BY FAMILY

This writer is the eldest in the family and yet the poorest. The family is not interested in our intellectual attainments. Who is interested in all this useless things? "All his brothers and sisters live in their own bungalows but this fellow lives in a rented house and always clad in a jungli dress". This is how we are ridiculed.
Look at the value system of the society. It honours, loves, adores only the rich. So the natural rush to make money and be known to the society as a crorepati.
Our value system has changed. It does not give any mark to your character, values, intellectual attainments, your work and suffering for social change. Nothing.

        CORRUPTION IS KILLING INDIA

In a temple, no poor man is allowed inside. Only the one who comes in a big car with pots of money to the "god" (meaning the priest) gets the first preference.
The god also respects the rich.
What is the point in blaming the Supreme Court CJs? Poor fellows. They are all victims of the socio-cultural system that governs this Brahminical society.
        The whole thing is sickening.
That is why nothing in India is progressing. Nothing in India is moving. Corruption is killing India.
CW Games is the best proof. The whole country has become one vast CW Games village. (See p.3 Edit)
Our entire traffic, railways, police system, banks, education, health system — are all cracking, collapsing.

        "KHATRI SICK" PM

The "Khatri Sick" is called India's most "honest PM". But just because he is not taking bribes (we do not know it) does not mean he is not corrupt.
Corruption is not "money corruption" alone. We have explained this in our book, India's Intellectual Desert.
Corrupt thoughts are more dangerous than mere money corruption. The "Khatri Sick's" thoughts itself are corrupt. A World Bank (Jewish-owned) nominee, he is supporting the "Jews of India" blindly. Is it not corruption?
Over 150 stone-pelting students were fired at and killed in Kashmir. Amnesty International has taken serious objection to this action but the country's ruling class is fully backing this PM. Our ruling class is itself corrupt to the core and this corruption is spreading deep into villages. Dangerous days are ahead.
As the PM, he is responsible for every action of the govt. All the actions of the govt under him are in favour of the rich who in India are none but the upper castes (15%). It is only after he took over, more Indians were pushed below the poverty line.

        DALIT CHRISTIANS

Money corruption is the last and the least dangerous part of the over all world of corruption.
The church (both Catholic and Protestant) keeping the Dalit Christians (2.5%) out of power is corruption. Syrian Christians dominating the entire North East Mongoloid church is corruption.
Hindu temples not allowing Dalits to enter is corruption.

        MARATHA CASTE RULE

Kashmiris not being allowed self-determination is corruption.
Upper caste Muslims opposing separate reservation for Pasmanda Muslims is corruption.
Jat Sikhs abandoning the Guru Granth and taking to Dasam Granth is corruption.
Casteist rule of the Marathas in Mahrashtra, Reddi-Khamma rule in Andhra Pradesh, Brahmin-Kayasth, Baidya rule in Bengal, Brahmin-Nair-Syrian Christian rule in Kerala, Brahmin-Lingayat rule in Karnataka all these are part of the overall world of systemic corruption.
Our whole body itself has become corrupt, diseased. The disease has entered all parts of our body through the roots or shoots and freely transported within every tissue.
Nothing can save this country from this systemic disease. It is sure death.
Eliminating corruption is impossible in "Hindu India". Because the cancer is too deep, spreading its roots all over.

        IMPOSSIBLE TASK

What is needed is not a drive to curb corruption but to destroy the very value system that prompts you to become corrupt. But the value system comes mostly from the religion. Who is ready to touch the religion?
May be the Brahminical India will rot, stink and degenerate — until another foreign invader comes and takes over.
        China stands a good chance.

        We pity poor Advani

        OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: Poor L.K. Advani, the Sindhi Khatri, who did so much and also suffered so much to keep the Bhoodevatas in power, is today the most hated man in the Brahmana Jati Party (BJP). It was he who led the rowdies brigade to destroy the Babri Masjid.
But today there is none with him. The country's principal Brahmin paper, the Hindu (Sept.26, 2010) says it in the headlined itself: "Advani sidelined in Ram temple issue".
Gandhi killed: Did not the same Bhoodevatas exploit the Gujarati Bania to the fullest extent and the moment India got "independence" and he helped install a Brahmin as the first PM, he was shot dead by a Brahmin only? (Why Godse Killed Gandhi?, DSA-1997). And his tribe distributed sweets all over India.
We have said this many times. Never pour milk to the serpent. Kill it. The moment you see it. Those who do not listen to this advice will go the Advani way. His own creation, Modi, has also betrayed him.
But will Advani have the courage to go against BJP and fight the serpents? Never.

        Palestine talks fail again

        OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: Peace in Palestine cannot be achieved as long as the zionist state of Israel is squeezing the neck of the Arabs to whom Palestine belongs. That is how the latest Obama-brokered "Peace talks" between the two failed.
Mohamoud Abbas, leading the Palestine side, negotiating with Binyamin Netanyahu, Zionist Israeli PM, is a corrupt Arab whom the Palestinians do not trust. As the US, which is hosting the "peace talks", is controlled by its 2% Jews who love Israel more than Arabs, is headed by the zionist stooge, Obama. What hope can we have in this eye-wash talks which are aimed more at fooling the poor Arabs?
The zionists are forcing Obama to attack Iran to save Israel. If he obliges, it will lead to World War-III.
DV Feb.16, 2009 p.9: "DV proved right on Palestine".
DV Edit Feb.1, 2009: "Blood thirsty zionists can't defeat Hamas".

        Secret of India's poverty

        OUR CORRESPONDENT
Bangalore: India will not be able to solve its "problem of poverty" even after 50 years of MDG plan. This is the verdict of the United Nations.
But it did not say why.
We have the answer: The people of India are not governed by a govt. There is nothing like a govt. here. The country is governed by a ruling class — comprising its 15% upper castes. We have said it time and again.
India deliberately kept sick: As long as we keep this 15% upper castes as rulers, India will not only be poor and starving but — rotten, corrupt, chaotic and permanently sick.
The rulers want it like that. They are keeping the over 85% of the population, comprising SC/ST/BCs (65%) plus Muslim, Christian, Sikhs (20%) — total 85% deliberately sick and starving — so that they don't think.
And more than that they will not be able to identify the exploiters.
Hundreds of times we have said it.
Hence it is all a repetition.
Who is ruling India: In our book, Who is Ruling India? And How? (DSA-2010) we have said all this.
But what is the use of our book? English is known to only 3% of Indians of which 90% are Brahmins.
The country is collapsing — very fast.
The over-fed, arrogant rulers with a closed mind, fully guided by the Jews in the West, are preparing for a war with Pakistan which will directly put India against China.
That means India will get further impoverished and lakhs of our people will die in the war. Who cares?

        UN indicts India

New Delhi: India will take over 50 years to halve its number of starving people due to low budget allocation for agriculture and rising food prices, a global report has said.
"India cannot halve its number of people starving until 2083, nearly 70 years after the Millennium Development goals target date", a report called "Who's Really Fighting Hunger?" said. Around a quarter of the world's population, who are deprived of food live in India and 43% of all children in the country under the age of five are malnourished, the study prepared by London-based organisation ActionAid says.

        Perception income

While India's per capita income tripled between 1990 and 2005, the number of hungry people also increased by 53 million bringing the total number of chronically hungry people in India to a staggering 270 million, it says.
According to a score-card mentioned in the documents, out of 28 nations ranked in the report, India got a dismal 21st rank while Brazil and China came first and second respectively. (Deccan Herald, Sept.19, 2010).

        BRAHMINIC MAD LOVE FOR BLOOD

Another war with China will inflict more disastrous defeat

        V.T. RAJSHEKAR
Look at the empty arrogance, insolence, false pride, craze to dominate, throwing its weight around without any proof of strength of character or integrity of the Brahminic rulers of India — who have already become the laughing stock of the world in the Commonwealth Games holocaust. Will this lead to a second but more disastrous confrontation with the rising super power China? (DV Oct.1, 2010: "Will Kashmir lead to war with China"?).
The proof of this is China is loved by all its neighbours but India is hated by all including the Hindu Nepal.
Kashmir Intifada: The "Khatri Sick" PM's team sent to Kashmir met with just one voice: Azadi which they celebrated with the bloodiest yet violence in two decades of uprisings against the Brahminic rule. The Economist called it India's Intifada.
Not even two centuries back the entire Kashmir was pure Brahmin. There was an en bloc revolt against Brahminism and the entire Kashmir became Muslim and the Enemy No.1 of Brahminism.
This enemy included the "Father of Pakistan", Poet Allama Iqbal, a Kashmiri Brahmin.
In 1962 — 36 years ago — the same rulers led by the then Kashmiri Brahmin PM, Jawaharlal Nehru, displayed the usual Brahminic arrogance and suffered a bloody nose at the hands of China. And died.
Brahminism has never given us peace in this subcontinent ever since the beggars set foot on this ancient land.
Neville Maxwel and Lt.-Gen. Henderson Brooks, a British officer, have all written how "the Indian soldiers were ordered to challenge the Chinese in a military confrontation which it could only lose". (Times of India, Sept.19, 2009).
World War-III: We are deeply worried that a second confrontation may involve not only Pakistan but also China which in turn may draw USA. That means the World War-III.
A PM, who can't manage a games field and became a laughing stock of the world, now wants to drag India into a World War-III. A mouse trying to fell a mountain. (DV Oct.1, 2010 p.15: "Khatri Sick" as India's worst & weakest PM").
Why China is loved not only by all its neighbours but also India's neighbours: Pakistan, Lanka, Burma, Bangladesh, Nepal? Why it doesn't occur to the pig-headed Brahminists that China, our largest and the world's second most powerful country, should be also our stable and peaceful neighbour? Why the Brahminist mad dog wants to bite every country around us? The US itself is afraid of China. Who will bother about India which can't manage a simple playing field?
Internal weakness: Already India has become one of the poorest countries in the world. Over 70% of its people are hand to mouth. Muslims, Christians, Sikhs — the three powerful religionists forming 20% of the population, have been permanently wounded.
Another war with China and Pakistan will not only be a nuclear war but killing millions of our starving Bahujans and the fighting jawans. India will be devastated.
Just to satisfy the arrogance of the Brahminic bully — a micro-minority of 2% — can we choose to challenge China? If the empty-headed Brahminists want India to become a regional power, they must make India internally strong. With over 85% of the population on starvation diet, and the rulers totally corrupt, with every wing of the society collapsing, what will happen if it goes to challenge the rising super power China?
Our information is the Brahminic middlemen for American arms dealers are being pushed by the 2% Jews controlling the US. They are forcing the Indian rulers for a war via Kashmir.
Jews itching for war on Israel: The Jews are itching for a war with Iran to save their heart throb, Israel. This will be possible only if they drag USA also. The "Jews of India" are too willing to wage a war over Kashmir which will instantly put India face to face with China. Are the grass-eating chaddi chores ready to face the nuclear-armed Pakistan on one side and super power China on the other?
Taliban, which once defeated the super power Soviet Union in Afghanistan, has already defeated US which is packing out.
War with Iran: The "Jews of India" believe that the ruling Jews of America will keep USA close to India. But the first love of Jews is Israel and not India. To keep Israel safe and secure it is provoking a war with Iran. If Iran is touched it will instantly draw China and Russia. That means World War-III.
If such a conflagration takes place, Taliban under the influence of the Pakistani ISI will simply take over Afghanistan. This will affect Kashmir where the current angry Intifada has turned against India.
Foreign ruler coming: Poor, suffering India is being unnecessarily dragged into a war in which it can never win.
India was once ruled by Britain. Earlier by Muslims. Within 60 years of the so-called independence, will India be occupied by a foreign ruler?

        World Black gathering in Senegal

        RUNOKO RASHIDI, DAKAR
To the readers of Dalit Voice, it gives me great pleasure to announce a historic gathering of the Black peoples of the world in Dakar, Senegal, in Dec. 2010. This is part of the World Black Arts Festival to be held in this West African nation. Our conference, one of seven to be convened at the gathering, will have a special focus on the Ancient African Diaspora.
I am happy to announce that one of the major presenters is Dalit Voice Editor, V.T. Rajshekar of India. For the African people, it is important to note that our history did not begin with invasion, defeat, colonization and enslavement. We have an ancient history, a great history.
Humanity originated in Africa: Modern humanity began in Africa. Over 100,000 years ago that humanity began to filter out of Africa. Asia was their first destination. These Africans did not arrive in Asia as destitute and penniless. They came as the first people. They introduced human culture to Asia. Of the places in Asia these Blacks had their largest influence, Pakistan and India were among the most important. They made up the tribal people of India, the first people of India.
They help build the Indus Valley Civilization, where people domesticated rice and invented the windmill and advanced agriculture, and had a peaceful civilization built on trade and commerce.
This was before untouchability and the subjugation of our people.
At Senegal, there will be representatives from other parts of the Ancient African Diaspora: Aboriginal Australia, West Papua New Guinea in the South Pacific. There will be presenters focusing on Blacks in early Europe and Africans in America before Columbus.
Why is such a gathering important? We say that what you do for yourself depends on what you think of yourself, that what you think of yourself depends on what you know of yourself, and what you know of yourself depends on what you have been told.
At this conference we want the Blacks to speak for themselves. We want authentic voices to tell the story of our people.India is one on the most important parts of the Black World. It has a Black population of over 300 million, including the Dalits and Tribals. V.T. Rajshekar is more than capable of telling their story. We are honored to have him among us.

Sikh leader fears defeat for Brahminism if India confronts China

        DR. AWATAR SINGH SEKHON, CANADA
Will there be another confrontation between the Brahminical democracy and China, even after its big defeat under Nehru in 1962.
Under the Brahmins-Hindus (4+11% of the total population of over 1.2 billion) military might is at least 10 times bigger than the Nehru regime.
Indeed it was the worst defeat. The Nehru fiasco took the toll of J.L. Nehru himself in 1964.
Sikh factor: One should not forget and ignore the Sikh factor – the daylight robbery of the divided Sikh nation of Punjab. This Sikh factor appeared when the captain of the Western Command headquarters abandoned his ship before its sinking. This captain was a Kashmiri Brahmin, Lt. Gen. Raina, who was replaced by a Sikh as the chief of the Western Command. In this China fiasco, these were the Sikhs, by and large, who fought with the Chinese soldiers fist to fist in the mountainous region despite their being well prepared and equipped. (Sekhon, Soverignty to Slavery).
Suspicious of Sikhs: The Sikh factor will become a severe headache for the Indian democracy of the Brahmins-Hindus. Have they got the courage to confront China. The Brahmins-Hindus are not only afraid but suspicious of the Sikhs because they are Sikhs and they are law-less people and dangerous to the law-abiding Brahmins-Hindus.
There will be other headaches also. The people of the internationally disputed areas of Kashmir have been suffering for over 63 years. There are other suffers like non-Brahmin minorities of Assam, 7 sisters of Assam, Manipur, Christians, Dalits, Adivasis/Moolnivasis etc.
No Muslim in Army: The armed forces problems are further complicated by insulting the initiated/amritdhari Sikhs not letting the Sikhs beyond the rank of a Major and a full stop in commissioning the Muslims in the armed forces or not giving commission to any Muslim etc. The armed forces chronically lack the leadership. The chief(s) of army have been involved in the cases of real estate irregularity and mistrust along with more than 12% vacancies at the commissioned ranks and there has been problems in the enrolment at the non-commissioned and junior commissioned ranks.
The turbaned Brahmins-Hindus in the Sikh identity have deliberately disturbed the education of the Sikh children in the landless Sikh nation, Punjab. Do the Brahmins-Hindus have the courage to face China? I have the doubt.
Should there be a confrontation, it would be favourable to the non-Brahmin-Hindus. Such a confrontation may wipe out the dreams of the Brahmins-Hindus and their "Indian democracy".

        Research on DV Editor's works

        Prof.Grishma M. Khobragade Asst.Prof., English DEPT., Birla College, Kalyan, Dist:-Thane- 421301

"CLOSING DOWN DV" — A DEBATE

        Editor kept aloof from masses

JITENDRA JADHAV, FLAT NO.149, BLDG. NO.8, GIC STAFF QTRS., NEAR TATA POWER HOUSE, BORIVALI (E), BOMBAY - 400 066
I am DV member since one year. I feel it is my duty to share my views with a great Ambedkarite scholar like V.T. Rajshekar on "Closing down DV". I have tried to find out the reasons behind the downfall of DV.
Various suggestions have been given by the DV members. All serious and intellectual members will remain with DV.
DV members are simply readers. At the most you have made them intellectuals through DV. They are not cadre-based or organized activists. So how can we expect from them a disciplined response?
Those who are only "educated" since 30 years, but not "organized", are not ready to "agitate", do not respond, do not react to any appeal that you made.
Our people don't read even Mahatma Phule, Babasaheb, Periyar. How can we expect them to read your books for deeper study?
I don't agree with your interpretation of Babasaheb and Kanshi Ram's mass movement. There is vast difference between running a media and building mass movement. Various organizations and scholars pretend that they are the only Ambedkarites but they don't have any programme, agenda, action plan, cadre-based organization to fulfil Babasaheb's dream.
Politics is must: The Sangha established by Budha, Satya Shodhak Movement of Mahatma Phule, Bahishkrit Hitkarni Sabha, Independent Labour Party, All India Scheduled Caste Federation of Babasaheb, Periyar E.V. Ramaswamy's Dravida Kazagham (DK), Kanshi Ram's BAMCEF, DS4 and BSP are all mass movements fought for Bahujana, which did large-scale awakening and agitation for liberation of masses but VTR remained aloof from masses since last 30 years.
How can we discard politics from social and cultural life? Are they not co-related, and influence each other? Kanshi Ram did not jump into politics all of a sudden but it was a journey from the working class union to the social movement and to the political movement.
VTR no doubt provided an intellectual platform where the people can collectively analyse and articulate relevant issues and problems. But this forum is not united, organized to solve the problems or march towards the goal of Phule-Ambedkarite ideology of building Mulniwasi Bharat Rashtra. Yes, we have our media but where is the movement? After 30 years of work, you haven't organized a single activist who will accompany you towards achieving the goal. They have just become a devotee and a devotee can't be revolutionary.
Educated are unreliable: Masses respond only to charity (god) and mass leader (revolutionary), for their liberation. The words of intellectuals, scholars do not appeal them. A missionary never fails. Casteism is a mental slavery. The slave tries to defend and protect it. Bahujans out of their ignorance cling strengthen and preserve the very system which degrades them. The so-called educated people are not "socially educated", hence they continue to be the same.
The Editor is aware of the history that the educated people are unreliable. Still you have wasted your 30 yeas in awakening these 3%. Why? Instead of that why didn't you go direct to masses and start working for them?
Media centre: The Editor has been emphasizing on "media centre" in Delhi which is the only hope for revolution in India. Otherwise, you predicted there will be final "Sunset on the Dalit world". Closing down DV and death of DV means the slow death of India. Ambedkarite movement is the movement of equality, liberty and fraternity against the inhuman system of inequality, injustice, discrimination based on the casteism (racism).
The magnitude of the problem is so serious that the efforts are highly inadequate. A media can definitely contribute in association with a nationwide Bahujan movement.
But how can only a print media bring about revolution? It is like thinking of winning a war on paper without fighting. What is needed is movement.
Dalit Voice is the fearless Ambedkarite journal which has national and international circulation. It should organize national and international Dalit intellectuals to fulfill Dr. Babasaheb's mission. DV can be like the RSS, an ideologue and strategy-determining centre of power of Brahmins. We (DV family) can form such a centralized non-political organization to propagate Dr. Babasaheb's mission of humanity, with a vision of forming Bahujan India.

        *************

DV survived for 30 long years — only because of its right royal path

Brother Jitendra Jadhav has been our member only for two years while DV has been struggling for 30 years.
India has not seen an English or even a language journal of Dalits lasting 30 years.

        AFRAID OF BRAHMIN BOSSES

The situation of the country and DV in particular is not as simple as he describes. Babasaheb himself on his death bed had said the educated sections of his community have cheated him. This is proved from the communications from different parts of India published in DV.
Serving IAS/IPS officers keep away from DV and the community. Not because DV is not speaking the Truth and supporting Justice but because they are afraid of their Brahmin bosses.

        RACIST CHIEF JUSTICE

But even the lowest ranking Brahmin in a govt. office will courageously celebrate festivals of his gods in the office itself — and that too during the office hours. None dare question him. They openly attend RSS shakhas and all subversive activities.
A Brahmin on taking over as the Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court got the "holy waters" from the Ganga and got his chair "cleaned" because its previous occupant, a Dalit, had polluted it. The entire High Court staff had silently witnessed it. The shocking incident was also reported in the press. No Brahmin took objection to the racist behaviour of the Chief Justice.
Jitendra stresses "political power". Fine. BSP has been in "political power" in UP but the power of the Brahmin, Vaishya, Thakurs of UP are in tact not only in the society but even in the govt. What use is this "political power"?

        MONEY POURS INTO BRAHMIN COFFERS

"Educate" is the first of the "Three Commandments" of Babasaheb. DV strictly confines to that. That is the job we took upon ourselves. We can't combine all the three and mess up the things. We have explained the significance of Babasaheb's "Three Commandments" in our book.
Our own family members suffer from so much of confusion and become argumentative without offering to support us in this critical time.
Look at the money that pours into the coffers of Brahmin temples — in crores. The entire money flows into the Brahminical subversive activities.
But when we run a journal, acknowledged by the whole readership as the right, real Voice of the Bahujans, and a big debate is going on, the total money that poured in is a merely Rs. 4 lakhs.
        What a shame.
Just imagine how weak we are.

        UNTHINKING OBCs

OBCs (35%) are an unthinking community. We have hardly any circulation among them — though we always fought and suffered for them. Muslims are another problem. They are a problem even to themselves. The Christian church is controlled by its Brahmin converts (Syrians). Sikhs are busy quarreling.

        DALITS AS LEADERS OF BAHUJANS

Despite all this indifference of the OBCs and religious minorities, we stood by them. Only because the Bahujans are our people. And Babasaheb said Dalits are the natural leaders of the Bahujan.
Tribals are under the deepest darkness.
In spite of such hostile surroundings and indifference of the "educated" sections among Dalits, DV survived for 30 years.
Jitendra Jadhav and his ilk must ponder over this — EDITOR.

        *************

DV stands for Justice & Truth

        BALU RAJU, HUBLI, KARNATAKA
Please do not worry. People will come forward to rescue DV. When You and DV stand for Justice, Truth and Humanity, your efforts will not go in vain. I have collected a DD for Rs. 10,000 from two friends. I am in touch with few more friends who assured support. I have already paid Rs. 50,000.

        *************

We can't get another VTR & another DV

SHYAM LAL GAUTAM, DELHI (ADDRESS WITHHELD)
This is my second communication on the "DV closing down" subject. (DV Sept.16, 2010 p.17: "If DV is allowed to die, Dalits will die as slaves".
The most important thing that the Debate has revealed is that DV has circulation all over India and outside. But most of the subscribers are poor.
If such an all-India journal is allowed to be closed down (I am sure it will not), to establish another DV it will take another 30 years. VTR will not be there. And we can't get a writer of the calibre of VTR.
An OBC, VTR united six disjointed SC/ST/BCs and Muslim/Christian/Sikhs and channelised their energies to fight our common enemy — the Brahminic tyrant.
Jewel in the crown of Babasaheb: Can we find a visionary like him? Our educated Dalits, the IAS/IPS walas enjoying their slavery are not even aware of this jewel in the "crown of Babasaheb".
Budha and Babasaheb wanted to build the Bahujan Samaj but in UP the OBC Yadavas hate the BSP Govt. OBCs prefer to go with Brahmins fearing that joining Dalits would degrade them in society.
I think the fall of DV shows that the Dalit community has met with defeat.
Perfect Bahujan journal: I have not seen one OBC willing to stand by Dalits. But VTR, an OBC, not only took up the cause of Dalits but made DV the best Dalit journal. He even included the unwilling Muslims. And Sikhs. But the "educated" Dalits, ungrateful to even their own Father (Babasaheb), are ditching their brother (VTR).
I am a poor man. VTR knows my financial situation. But the hundreds of IAS/IPS/Income Tax, Customs and such other high paid Dalit officers with fat salaries and fatter bribes have not even read DV.
Rajya Sabha offer rejected: If VTR had accepted Kanshi Ram offer, he would have been a MP (Rajya Sabha). But he preferred to keep out of politics at a time when every Dalit is moving heaven and earth to get "power" which brings money.
But VTR still lives in a rented house in Bangalore and leads a modest life, always found in simple khadi-kurta and pyjama. Shunning all publicity, spending almost 12 hours a day in DV work.
Dalit issue internationalised: Author of over 100 books, with world-wide travel experience, VTR was the first person to internationalise the Dalit problem. Even President Obama as a law professor had read his book, Dalit — The Black Untouchables of India, published from USA. He led two delegation to China, the future super power of the world with which he is in close touch.
Writing about VTR (read the book, VTR — Friend, Philosopher & Guide, by Iqbal Ahmed Shariff, DSA-2009, Rs. 100) is an endless job.
We cannot get a person like VTR. And we cannot get another DV — if we kill it today.

        *************

        Bahujan character is slavery

NAGESH CHAUDHARY, RAHATE COLONY, JAIL ROAD, NAGPUR - 440 022
I am also facing difficulty in continuing the Bahujan Sangharsh. But I think the continuation of DV is a must. You should carry on as long as you can. We know Bahujan character is of slavery. The support Brahmins get is so enormous that a few of us cannot be a match to them. Let us hope in future some new persons will carry on the fight. I wish the "Media centre" of your dream becomes reality. But will that counter the entire Brahminic system?
This is my reply to the critics of DV saying a "political power" is more important than media. Mere political power cannot change a social system. This has come true as Mayawati has withdrawn the order on Dalit women cooks. Untouchability, caste discrimination will not go by joining different castes. This what Kanshi Ram tried to do. Brahmins become Chanakyas as soon as they join the Bahujan political power. The Editor of DV has repeatedly said it and proved it by citing concrete cases.
When a Marathi journal like yours is facing difficulty, you can imagine the plight of the English DV. You have referred to the Bahujan slavery. Please write frankly on the causes for this slavery. Better you organise a seminar on this very subject, inviting Dalits, Muslim, Christian, Budhist etc. We will contact our friends. Since Nagpur is the centre of India and also heart of Ambedkarite, the subject "Bahujan slavery" will attract a big gathering. Brother Nagesh Chaudhary is right. Both the political parties that ruled Tamil Nadu since 50 years are disciples of Periyar E.V. Ramaswamy. But both failed to publish the collected works of Periyar in English — not to speak of continuing the ant-Brahmin crusades of the great Dravidian revolutionary. This is true of BSP Govt. which has been cultivating the Brahmin and other upper castes — EDITOR.

DV is too honest & open

        THINAKARAN PERIASAMY, MADURAI
I am not a DV subscriber but read it online. I read Periyar EVR's book on Islam. Your website talked about it. I am an engineer in Madurai now. The only flaw in your writings and speeches is that you are too open and honest. People in general need a religion, not the truth. Perhaps that is why Gandhi used religion. The oppressed need dreams. You tell the truth, they run. It is the educated who are the worst, going towards Shankaracharis. Budhism and rationalism cannot stand in this world of greed and false spirituality. It is sad.
All Dravidian leaders have forgotten Periyar. They are taking care of their families now. The "world-is-flat" idea of the West enabled the sudden surge in land value. Everyone is grabbing land, including ponds, riverbeds. Grab, grab and grab, while the IT tycoons are making false sense of stock values. Greed has surpassed values.
TN Chief Minister Karunanidhi's sons are fighting who will be the next CM. One is a thug in Madurai and another in Madras. Dalit politicians had forgotten social movement. A social movement is lacking. I am sending Rs. 5,000 tomorrow. You should not stop DV. (thinakar@gmail.com)

        *************

You are right. Jews in the West and Brahmins in India are spreading dangerous values with the help of the media they control. If you have enough like-minded people (5-10), you can informally meet once a week. Presence of women is very important. Right thinking people are in plenty but they are all dozed, not knowing what to do. Once a couple of you start meeting, many more will join. Muslims will easily come because they are the wrost victims of Brahminism. The whole of TN has forgotten Periyar. The so-called Periyarist leaders have taken to business — EDITOR.

        Brahminisation of OBCs

        T.L. NINGARAJAPPA, 91 - "A" BLOCK, 2ND MAIN, 13TH CROSS, 1ST STAGE, J.P. NAGAR, MYSORE - 570 008
I am your family member and deeply pained by the news of "DV closing down". DV has done great service to OBCs/SC/ST and minorities.
        (1) The Bahujan knowledge of English is little. A majority of our people are Brahminised.
        (2) Though Dr. Ambedkar has struggled to awaken the Bahujans legally, no Bahujan leader is using his name/fame openly to educate Bahujans. The OBCs are much more hinduised and worried about Hinduism.
        (3) Though Dr. Ambedkar has fought for empowering women, our leadership/organisations have not highlighted his efforts.
        (4) OBC leaders are not ready to support SC/ST leadership because they are all hinduised and protecting the caste system.
Major caste conflicts are between OBCs and SC/STs because no OBC is ready to join SC's because of caste hierarchy. In support of reservation it is the SCs who were involved rather than the OBCs. You have missed an opportunity to open the "Media centre" in Delhi offered by Kanshi Ram, though you have much experience and knowledge than anybody else. You can increase the subscription price. I am sending a cheque for Rs. 2,000 for stabilisation of DV, though it is small and try to send in future too. Your determination will yield results.

        Brahminists will dance with joy

RAVINDRA B.M., NEAR HOSANGADY RLY. GATE, MANJESHWAR, KERALA
I am deeply perturbed on reading about "Closing of DV". Brahminical forces will dance with joy. It will be the death of Dalit movement in India. Here in Kerala, the Hindu marxist govt. is suppressing all Dalits and Muslim movement.
DHRO (Dalit Human Rights Organisation) is under the scan of the marxist police. The Other Books, Calicut, was raided by the police. The Other Books is doing a great job in publishing books. Muslims are fighting each other. Jamate-Islami is now getting kicks from the CPM. M.K. Muneer, ex-minister from the Indian Muslim League, is a buffoon — branded the Popular Front as a terrorist outfit. What a tragedy.
Don't close down DV. We are all frightened. If you close DV means Brahminical forces will dance with joy. We will with you. Within a month I will send my tiny contribution and renew my subscription.
You had cleanly forgotten us for over 5 years after being our member for 13 years. What made you to remember us now when we are sinking? Our circulation has fallen because "educated" Dalits find Brahmins a better company. Even richer Muslims are deserting us. But what is much more shocking is you also forgetting us — EDITOR.

        *************

DV offers nothing but criticism of Brahmins

        K. PRAKASH, TGT (M), JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA, CHIKKAJOGIHALLI, BELLARY DT. - 583 126
In the "Closing down of DV" Debate many members have suggested raising the DV subscription rates. I feel it should be Rs. 500 per year and Rs. 5,000 for life.
Unless enough care is given to publish innovative and creative articles, DV may lose circulation when rates are raised. At present, DV offers nothing but blaming Brahmins for all evils. Still Brahminism flourished. The coming of Muslims to India challenged the idol worship very effectively which resulted in destruction of many temples. Still the Brahminism flourished. So the DV criticisms mean nothing to the Brahmin and the same old criticisms may drive away the reduced subscribers when rates are raised.

Wanted expert psychiatrist & brain surgeon to probe our "national" problem

Right from the beginning of history, every revolutionary thinker, scholar and leader fought only against Brahminism which is India's principal contradiction. Just because our circulation is falling we cannot stop speaking on the historical truths.

        PERIYAR'S REPLY

Despite being a member of DV for about 10 years, the Brahmin in Brother Prakash has not changed a wee bit. This is yet another proof that neither "education" nor democratic aspirations of the suppressed "nations" would melt the Brahmin heart.
So often a question was asked to Periyar E.V. Ramaswamy as to why he criticised only the Brahmin. Even M.K. Gandhi asked: "Did you not find one good Brahmin in your life?"

        BRAHMIN ONLY KILLED GANDHI

The answer Periyar gave to this star question needs repetition. He said: "All the good Brahmins are dead Brahmins".
Even Gandhi, who did so much service to Brahmins and finally selected only a Brahmin as India's first PM, was shot dead only by a Brahmin.
Why the Brahmin refuses to change? He may slightly compromise on economic things, even political, but never on socio-cultural things for fear of losing his status as the unquestioned leader of the land — Bhoodevata.

        BRAHMINISM KILLING BRAHMINS

This is the problem. Brother Prakash and his ilk must ponder.
We don't blame him. He too is a victim of the Brahminic system that is "killing" the Brahmins. We pity them.
That is how we once sought for expert psychiatrist and brain surgeon to probe this "national" problem — EDITOR.

BAMCEF & BSP must rescue DV

PRADIP KUMAR ROY, SABUJ PALLY, PO PANCHPOTA, CALCUTTA - 700 152
Dalit Voice is not only a great journal but also the voice of the aborigine Indians. The ruling class wants to force its closure for their good. DV is the only the media (English) of Moolnivasi. But VTR as the founder-editor will not allow it to stop. We the family members also do not allow DV to close down. I request all our Bahujan intellectuals to save DV. Bahujans have only three weapons:
        (1) Media: DV is our principal weapon. DV's dynamic work is creating social and cultural revolution.
        (2) Social movement: BAMCEF is uniting all the MBs. And this work is creating social revolution.
        (3) Political movement: BSP is creating a silent revolution politically through adult franchise.
At any cost, we should save all these three weapons. Each weapon suffers from a distinct problem:
        (a) DV has financial problem.
        (b) BAMCEF has leadership problem and
        (c) BSP has the "compromising" problem.
In the case of DV, not only the DV family but all Bahujans must come forward to save it. BAMCEF is dividing Bahujans like the RPI.

IAS/IPS officers boiling inside but helpless

        R.P. SINGH, JAIPUR
I am deeply distressed about "Closing down DV", the only journal of our people, the real soul of the land enslaved by outsiders. I am sending a cheque of Rs. 25,000 as a small support.
You have rightly said that 90% of DV family members are poor, low-paid govt. servants. The well paid have a "poor mind" as you have seen the behaviour of IAS/IPS officers at the Bangalore meeting.
They are all boiling inside but scared of their upper caste bosses and politicians. If they come out openly, their career will be ruined. So they pretend to be "devout Hindus". The upper castes will never treat us as equal, despite our status as IAS, IPS or anything.
In every field the upper castes act as rulers — whatever may be their stupidity. They think we are timid, ill-mannered, brainless idiots. If one tries to explain something in a scientific manner, they will oppose it showing their superiority and majority in power politics and media.
Please don't close down Dalit Voice which alone gives us the taste of real independence.

Your friends met us at Cochin and we agreed to visit your university — EDITOR.

DV & BAMCEF can together expedite cultural revolution

        V.T. RAJSHEKAR
Brother Waman Meshram and the BAMCEF comrades. Thank you for inviting me to the BAMCEF session again after over 10 years.
Happy also to note your organisation headed by Brother Waman Meshram has become largest of the country's different BAMCEF units representing govt. employees.

        EDUCATED DALITS FAILED

The last time I addressed your conference was over 12 years back. And it was at Pune.Much water has gone down the bridge and the country is going from bad to worse.
The Congress Party heading the UPA coalition has proved more hostile to Dalit-Bahujans than the BJP which is our honest enemy while the Congress is our disguised enemy. Between the two we must prefer the open enemy.
The ruling class will always do what it wants. But we its victims are not doing what we want. Sorry to say we have failed.
The educated, employed class among Dalits, who should have been in the forefront of the struggle against our Brahminical oppressors, has joined the oppressors.

        RUSH FOR POLITICAL POWER

Babasaheb, our Father and the "Father of India", is forgotten.
As the Editor of Dalit Voice for about 30 years and having circulation all over India, we know what is happening in India.
Today "our" educated Dalit brothers are rushing to capture political power, wrongly quoting Babasaheb that "political power is the masterkey to unlock all doors". (DV Edit Aug.1, 2010 "Mystery of the master-key").
Those who say this are wrongly quoting Babasaheb.
What he said was that only a thorough-going socio-cultural struggle will lead us to political power.
Those who rush to seek political power have to give up the socio-cultural struggle.
In Tamil Nadu, DMK has been in power for umpteen number of years. Karunanidhi became CM 4-5 times. But he could not touch one hair of the Brahmins in TN.

        "THREE COMMANDMENTS" MISQUOTED

Even in your conference pamphlets you have misquoted the "Three Commandments" of Babasaheb. What he said was "Educate, Agitate, Organise". But you have put "Organise" in the middle.
We call this as Babasaheb's "Three Commandments", but you must know that the three weapons given to us by Babasaheb are taken from Budhism. They are "Budham, Dhammam, Sangham", which are Pali words.

        MEDITATION

Babasaheb borrowed it from Budhism and called it "Educate, Agitate, Organise". Please correct this mistake as our enemy will use it and further confuse our people.
Some of our educated Dalits have interpreted Dhammam as "meditation". Babasaheb never did meditation. Has anybody seen Babasaheb meditating? Does anybody have a photograph of Babasaheb doing meditation? In his book, Buddha & His Dhamma, he makes this clear.

        ART OF DECEIVING

Meditation has helped the Brahmins to capture our people, making them better slaves. We have in Bangalore a top fraud heading a multi-million dollar empire called the "Art of Deceiving". Instead of fighting the enemy, our educated Dalits have joined the enemy, wasting their precious time on meditation. Has Babasaheb done meditation? Has anybody seen him doing meditation? From where did our "educated" Dalits get the impression that Babasaheb did meditation? Meditation is for the ruling upper castes.
However, I am happy to note that BAMCEF has not only identified the enemy but fiercely fighting. Congratulations. (cheers)
Your pamphlet on "Introduction to BAMCEF" is wonderful.

        BRAHMINS & JEWS

It quotes an American professor saying that "the Brahmins are foreigners and that they are of Eurasian origin". You are right.
In DV, we have made an extensive research and I have written two books saying the Brahmins and the Jews are blood brothers.
Brahmins are misleading us saying that our enemies are the country's rich. This is the "class theory" of marxism which misled us for 30 years. Marxism is the other name for Brahminism.
In India, it is the Brahmins who control the entire financial structure. I met a young Brahmin reading the Wall Street Journal in a London Hotel. I asked him why he was reading this paper. He said he wanted to enter the financial sector. Banking, stock exchange and market manipulation are the specialised field of Brahmins. In India, the Reserve Bank, which is the banker's bank and where currency notes are printed, is owned by the government. But in America, the Federal Reserve is a private bank whose office-bearers are all Jews. Though our RBI is government-owned, the Brahmins occupy all the top positions and posts in all the banks.

        BRAHMINS ARE EURASIANS

When you say that the Brahmins are Eurasians you are absolutely correct. Very rarely a Dalit organization has the courage to say this. Unless we identify the enemy whom are we going to fight? We cannot fight in the air. The enemy must be identified first. Babasaheb, Periyar and Phule all identified the enemy. But some Dalit organizations still have not done it. Once I attended a meeting in which one person said: "How long we must keep on criticizing the Brahmins? I think we must stop this. Brahmins are no longer our enemies". Look at our Dalit leaders buttering Brahmins.

BRAHMINS & JEWS AS BLOOD BROTHERS

But see the position and the power the Brahmins hold in this country. In West Bengal, where the communists ruled for 30 years, the Chief Minister is a Brahmin. E.M.S. Namboodiripad, whom I knew intimately, was a 150% Brahmin. So the Brahmins control the Communist Party, the Congress Party and they have infiltrated into socialism and even Bahujan Samaj Party. They are everywhere. Where there is sugar there will be ants. In Dalit Voice, we have written that the Brahmins and the Jews are blood brothers. We have to fight them.
We have to be anti-Brahmin and anti-Brahminism.
In Maharashtra, every Chief Minister has been a Maratha. Yet the Marathas say they are backwards. The Marathas say that they need reservation. I visited Pune soon after the attack on Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute by some Marathas. They are against Brahmins but not against Brahminism.
I will give you the example of Tamil Nadu. There was a Justice Party in Tamil Nadu led by the Mudaliars, the Reddys, and the Naidus. They said that non-Brahmins must get power. Because of the struggle of Periyar and DMK the non-Brahmins came to power in TN. After coming to power, however, they started kicking only our people.
Today the Mudaliars, the Vellalas, the Naidus and the Chettiars are one with Brahmins.

        EDUCATED DALITS BETRAYED THE COMMUNITY

In your pamphlet titled "Introduction to BAMCEF" (p.4), you say you are organising only the "educated class" and say the "educated class is nothing but the intellectual class".
If this is true, this educated class should have carried out the mission of Babasaheb.
Did they do it? I am sorry to say as the Editor of Dalit Voice the Dalit-educated class has disappointed us.
Babasaheb himself said at the fag end of his life.

        GOVT. BABUS NOT INTELLECTUALS

The definition of an intellectual is one who earns his living out of his intellectual work. This class includes writers, artists, teachers, singers, poets, teachers etc.
Govt. employees do not come under this class. Even journalists can't be strictly called intellectuals. They may be semi-intellectuals.
Yet in another place you say Dalit employees being govt. servants cannot participate in political activities.
        You are wrong.

        ABHINAV BHARAT

The Abhinav Bharat Brahmins who did the Malegaon bombing, now in jail, are all govt. servants. Some of them like Lt. Col. Srikant Purohit are serving Army officers.
How did they actively participate in Malegaon anti-Muslim riots? How did they participate in political activities and become terrorists?
Participating in socio-cultural work is not political work. Lt. Col. Purohit's work in Malegaon anti-Muslim riots amounts to political work.
Sorry, please don't take my remarks as criticism of BAMCEF.
Dalit Voice is great supporter of BAMCEF and its chief, Brother Waman Meshram, is our good old friend.

        MEDIA CENTRE

        We assure our full support.
Before we end, we want to tell Brother Meshram that any socio-cultural organisation involved in the work of the oppressed must have its own media.
We want to assure you that DV will be too glad to associate ourselves — as your work and our work is the same. We thank you for inviting us to BAMCEF session and helping to reconnect the two organisation — BAMCEF and Dalit Voice.
DV on the intellectual front and BAMCEF as a mass movement can do a lot to bring about the long delayed cultural revolution.

CAG to complete audit of CWG projects within three months

With a controversy raging over the Commonwealth Games expenditures, the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) today said it will complete within three months a "comprehensive" audit of the projects. The report will be confidential and submitted only to Parliament, CAG Vinod Rai said.
"We will complete the entire audit process of CWG in three moths time. It is going to be a gigantic task.
Atleast 20 different organisations will be involved," he said addressing auditors that included some from abroad. "If we take six to eight months time and submit the report in 2012, then the entire purpose of exercise would be lost.
We will ensure that results of the audit are made available at the earliest. It is not only about the expenditures incurred," he said.
The CAG said while auditing they would have to see whether the original activity or the objective has been fulfilled. "Whether there is a physical outcome, accountability established and there there has been optimal utilisation of money," Rai said.
He said it would be a comprehensive audit which would cover all the institutions involved in the Games. "Ours will be a report which will be shared only with the Parliament," he said while addressing the 97th international training programme on auditing in an IT environment.
The CAG is vetting the expenditures incurred in different Commonwealth Games related projects. The audit process by CAG teams began in the middle of August.
However, later it was halted between September 24 and October 14 in view of the Games.

Mukherjee hints at retirement, Rahul Gandhi as PM

Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has hinted at retirement, saying he was unlikely to join a new cabinet, and said Rahul Gandhi, the ruling Congress party's young leader, could become prime minister.
Mukherjee, a heavyweight in government decision-making, spoke of retirement at a time when the country is trying to balance policies toward double-digit growth, stubbornly high inflation and removing poverty.
"My goodness! What would be my age? I am already 75. There is a limit beyond which you cannot go," Mukherjee told India Today magazine when asked if he would join a Rahul Gandhi cabinet.
"How long do you expect me to stay? Rather, I have overstayed my wicket."
Mukherjee, a political stalwart who first entered parliament four decades ago and has been a member of almost every Congress party ministry since 1973, said Rahul Gandhi was a "popular leader" and had strong potential to become prime minister.
"The crowds he gets are amazing," he said about Rahul Gandhi, son of Congress chief Sonia and heir to the Nehru-Gandhi family which has given India three prime ministers.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the Congress party were re-elected last year, but his coalition government has been criticised for slow decision-making and there have been calls for younger and fresher politicians into his elderly cabinet.
A master of India's turbulent politics, Mukherjee is considered by many as the sharpest mind in Singh's cabinet with deep knowledge of the changing dynamics of India's strategic and economic policies.
Mukherjee is much more than just the finance minister. He is the Congress party's foremost trouble-shooter, often rising in parliament to defend the government on issues as diverse as foreign policy and inflation.
He commands respect with opposition parties and often engages with them to break political deadlocks.

        Facebook in Privacy Breach

Top-Ranked Applications Transmit Personal IDs, a Journal Investigation Finds

By EMILY STEEL And GEOFFREY A. FOWLER Kim White Bloomberg

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg addressed the F8 developer conference this spring.
Many of the most popular applications, or "apps," on the social-networking site Facebook Inc. have been transmitting identifying information—in effect, providing access to people's names and, in some cases, their friends' names—to dozens of advertising and Internet tracking companies, a Wall Street Journal investigation has found.
The issue affects tens of millions of Facebook app users, including people who set their profiles to Facebook's strictest privacy settings. The practice breaks Facebook's rules, and renews questions about its ability to keep identifiable information about its users' activities secure.

The problem has ties to the growing field of companies that build detailed databases on people in order to track them online—a practice the Journal has been examining in its What They Know series. It's unclear how long the breach was in place. On Sunday, a Facebook spokesman said it is taking steps to "dramatically limit" the exposure of users' personal information.

Many top applications on Facebook have been transmitting identifying information to Internet tracking and ad companies. Emily Steel discusses. Also, Michael Ramsey discusses skepticism about the auto industry's big bet that battery-powered cars will become big sellers.
"A Facebook user ID may be inadvertently shared by a user's Internet browser or by an application," the spokesman said. Knowledge of an ID "does not permit access to anyone's private information on Facebook," he said, adding that the company would introduce new technology to contain the problem identified by the Journal.
"Our technical systems have always been complemented by strong policy enforcement, and we will continue to rely on both to keep people in control of their information," the Facebook official said.

        More From the Series

"Apps" are pieces of software that let Facebook's 500 million users play games or share common interests with one another. The Journal found that all of the 10 most popular apps on Facebook were transmitting users' IDs to outside companies.
The apps, ranked by research company Inside Network Inc. (based on monthly users), include Zynga Game Network Inc.'s FarmVille, with 59 million users, and Texas HoldEm Poker and FrontierVille. Three of the top 10 apps, including FarmVille, also have been transmitting personal information about a user's friends to outside companies.
Most apps aren't made by Facebook, but by independent software developers. Several apps became unavailable to Facebook users after the Journal informed Facebook that the apps were transmitting personal information; the specific reason for their unavailability remains unclear.
The information being transmitted is one of Facebook's basic building blocks: the unique "Facebook ID" number assigned to every user on the site. Since a Facebook user ID is a public part of any Facebook profile, anyone can use an ID number to look up a person's name, using a standard Web browser, even if that person has set all of his or her Facebook information to be private. For other users, the Facebook ID reveals information they have set to share with "everyone," including age, residence, occupation and photos.
The apps reviewed by the Journal were sending Facebook ID numbers to at least 25 advertising and data firms, several of which build profiles of Internet users by tracking their online activities.
Defenders of online tracking argue that this kind of surveillance is benign because it is conducted anonymously. In this case, however, the Journal found that one data-gathering firm, RapLeaf Inc., had linked Facebook user ID information obtained from apps to its own database of Internet users, which it sells. RapLeaf also transmitted the Facebook IDs it obtained to a dozen other firms, the Journal found.

RapLeaf said that transmission was unintentional. "We didn't do it on purpose," said Joel Jewitt, vice president of business development for RapLeaf.
Facebook said it previously has "taken steps ... to significantly limit Rapleaf's ability to use any Facebook-related data."
Facebook prohibits app makers from transferring data about users to outside advertising and data companies, even if a user agrees. The Journal's findings shed light on the challenge of policing those rules for the 550,000 apps on its site.
The Journal's findings are the latest challenge for Facebook, which has been criticized in recent years for modifying its privacy rules to expose more of a user's information. This past spring, the Journal found that Facebook was transmitting the ID numbers to advertising companies, under some circumstances, when a user clicked on an ad. Facebook subsequently discontinued the practice.
"This is an even more complicated technical challenge than a similar issue we successfully addressed last spring on Facebook.com," a Facebook spokesman said, "but one that we are committed to addressing."
The privacy issue follows Facebook's effort just this month to give its users more control over its apps, which privacy activists had cited as a potential hole in users' ability to control who sees their information. On Oct. 6, Facebook created a control panel that lets users see which apps are accessing which categories of information about them. It indicates, for example, when an application accesses a user's "basic information" (including a user ID and name). However, it doesn't detail what information friends' applications have accessed about a user.

It's rarely a coincidence when you see Web ads for products that match your interests. WSJ's Christina Tsuei explains how advertisers use cookies to track your online habits.

A new report in the Wall Street Journal's "What They Know" series illustrates how companies like Microsoft must balance conflicting interests: helping people surf the Web with its browser to keep their mouse clicks private, and helping advertisers who want to see those clicks. WSJ's Julia Angwin, Nick Wingfield, and Jessica Vascellaro join host Simon Constable as panelists on this special Digits live show.
Facebook apps transform Facebook into a hub for all kinds of activity, from playing games to setting up a family tree. Apps are considered an important way for Facebook to extend the usefulness of its network. The company says 70% of users use apps each month.
Applications are also a growing source of revenue beyond advertising for Facebook itself, which sells its own virtual currency that can be used to pay for games.
Following an investigation by the Canadian Privacy Commissioner, Facebook in June limited applications to accessing only the public parts of a user's profile, unless the user grants additional permission. (Canadian officials later expressed satisfaction with Facebook's steps.) Previously, applications could tap any data the user had access to, including detailed profiles and information about a user's friends.
It's not clear if developers of many of the apps transmitting Facebook ID numbers even knew that their apps were doing so. The apps were using a common Web standard, known as a "referer," which passes on the address of the last page viewed when a user clicks on a link. On Facebook and other social-networking sites, referers can expose a user's identity.
The company says it has disabled thousands of applications at times for violating its policies. It's unclear how many, if any, of those cases involved passing user information to marketing companies.
Facebook also appeared to have shut down some applications the Journal found to be transmitting user IDs, including several created by LOLapps Media Inc., a San Francisco company backed with $4 million in venture capital. LOLapp's applications include Gift Creator, with 3.5 million monthly active users, Quiz Creator, with 1.4 million monthly active users, Colorful Butterflies and Best Friends Gifts.
Since Friday, users attempting to access those applications received either an error message or were reverted to Facebook's home screen.
"We have taken immediate action to disable all applications that violate our terms," a Facebook spokesman said.
A spokeswoman for LOLapps Media declined to comment.
The applications transmitting Facebook IDs may have breached their own privacy policies, as well as industry standards, which say sites shouldn't share and advertisers shouldn't collect personally identifiable information without users' permission. Zynga, for example, says in its privacy policy that it "does not provide any Personally Identifiable Information to third-party advertising companies."
A Zynga spokeswoman said, "Zynga has a strict policy of not passing personally identifiable information to any third parties. We look forward to working with Facebook to refine how web technologies work to keep people in control of their information."
The most expansive use of Facebook user information uncovered by the Journal involved RapLeaf. The San Francisco company compiles and sells profiles of individuals based in part on their online activities.
The Journal found that some LOLapps applications, as well as the Family Tree application, were transmitting users' Facebook ID numbers to RapLeaf. RapLeaf then linked those ID numbers to dossiers it had previously assembled on those individuals, according to RapLeaf. RapLeaf then embedded that information in an Internet-tracking file known as a "cookie."
RapLeaf says it strips out the user's name when it embeds the information in the cookie and shares that information for ad targeting. However, The Wall Street Journal found that RapLeaf transmitted Facebook user IDs to a dozen other advertising and data firms, including Google Inc.'s Invite Media.
All 12 companies said that they didn't collect, store or use the information.
Ilya Nikolayev, chief executive of Familybuilder, maker of the Family Tree application, said in an email, "It is Familybuilder's corporate policy to keep any actual, potential, current or prior business partnerships, relationships, customer details, and any similar information confidential. As this story relates to a company other than Familybuilder, we have nothing further to contribute."

No newspapers in Manipur after threat by militants

Newspapers in Manipur today failed to hit the stands following a threat by a militant group in the state. Journalists and management of media houses took the decision yesterday not to bring out any issues, a spokesman of the All Manipur Working Journalists Union (AMWJU) said .
While a militant outfit wanted a certain statement to be published in verbatim in the papers, its rival faction threatened them with dire consequences if the statement was published, the spokesman said. On several occasions earlier, papers failed to hit the stands for similar reasons, he said and ask the ultras not to issue any threat notice to media houses.

Rotting of foodgrains "extremely serious" matter: SC

Ticking off the Centre for the rotting of huge quantities of foodgrains when people are dying of hunger, the Supreme Court today asked what action has been taken against officials responsible for it. Terming the matter as "extremely serious", the apex asked the Centre to ensure no further wastage and gear up to meet the storage required for the ensuing kharif crops.
Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Mohan Parasaran drew flak for his argument that only 7000 tonnes of grains had got rotten in Food Corporation of India (FCI) godowns and that 67,539 tonnes were wasted in the godowns owned by States of Haryana and Punjab. "Even if it is 7,000 tonnes how can it happen? Then there is the wastage in two States.
It is an extremely serious matter. You compare the wastage world over.
The damage done in two States is very high. What action you have taken against the officials? "You are admitting 7000 tonnes have been damaged.
People are dying of hunger. You are not providing them grain.
This litigation has been going on for the past 10 years. Some evaluation should have been done by you by this time to prevent wastage and ensure proper distribution," a Bench of Justices Dalveer Bhandari and Deepak Verma told the ASG. The apex court made the observation while dealing with the public interest litigation moved by Peoples Union for Civil Liberties''s(PUCL) complaining about large scale corruption the country''s public distribution system (PDS) and rotting of food grains in government godowns.
The Bench had earlier ordered the Government to distribute food grains free of cost to the hungry poor, but the Centre had not given any commitment on the issue though Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Paward had orally assured that Government would implement the direction. However, subsequently the Prime Minister joined the issue saying courts should not interfere in policy matters.

Narendra Modi slams Rs 22,000 cr agri-grant for Delhi

Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi today questioned the Centre for allotting crores of rupees to the Delhi Government for agriculture.
"Centre has allotted Rs 22,000 crore to Delhi Government for development of agriculture when no substantial farming is done in and around Delhi," Modi said addressing a public rally at Dabhoi, 30 kms from here today.
He was addressing a rally held in view of the local civic body and taluka panchayat elections here.
Modi criticising the anti-farmers policy of the Congress led UPA Government said while cotton growers have to pay tax for exporting it, subsidy is being given to those who export meat.
He said farmers in Congress ruled states like Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh have committed suicide in large numbers due to anti-farmers policy pursued by the Centre.
He also criticized the "Delhi sultanate" for hatching a conspiracy to destabilize his government. Instead of doing so the Centre should focus its attention on Pakistan and teach it a lesson, he said.
Modi said the outcome recent of municipal corporation elections has shown where Congress stands in the state.
He said it was the "magic" of public that helped BJP win elections to six local civic bodies and not the tampering of EVMs as alleged by Congress.

Karnataka HC split on disqualification of 11 BJP MLAs

The Karnataka High Court was today split on the disqualification of 11 BJP MLAs by the Speaker and left the issue to be heard by a third judge on Oct 20, prolonging the suspense over the fate of the first saffron government in the south. Significantly, on the issue of disqualification of 5 Independent MLAs, the two-member bench of the court referred the matter to a new division bench which will hear it on Nov 2.
"My upholding the (Speaker''s) and brother judge (Justice N Kumar) setting aside the order.
the common view is that it should go to some other bench," Chief Justice J S Khehar, heading the bench, said in the much-awaited verdict.
The bench, which differed on the question whether the rebel 11 MLAs have incurred disqualification under the anti-defection law by giving a memorandum to the Governor against their party7 Chief Minister, posted the matter for further hearing before a third judge on Oct 20. The fate of the BJP government, which won a trust vote last week, depends on the final ruling of the court on the two petitions filed the 11 rebel BJP MLAs and 5 Independent MLAs.
The court refused to entertain any plea by both the parties with the Chief Justice observing, "Everything as it is, whatever now now, shall remain. We are not not getting into anything.
So far as we are concerned, we are done," the bench said. Late on the night of Oct 10, the Speaker had disqualified 11 BJP MLAs and 5 Independent MLAs under the anti-defection law ahead of the trust vote by Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Oct 11.
Amidst pandemonium, the Speaker had declared the chief minister''s confidence motion carried by a voice vote which the Opposition had contested. Governor H R Bhardwaj called the proceedings in unconstitutional and recommended President''s rule in the state.
However, the next day he gave the chief minister another opportunity to prove his majority in the House on Oct 14, while the High Court reserved orders for Oct 18 in the case of 11 BJP MLAs. The court also ruled that the fate of vote in the House on Oct 14 will depend on its final verdict in the case.
The first BJP government in the south proved its majority in the truncated Assembly with 106 MLAs voting for it and 100 voting against.
